Spot intelligence.

This is Santa Marinella's rocky right-hand point, not a generic beginner sand beach. Advanced is a conservative independent-recommendation gate for its shallow breaking zone and difficult access, not a claim that every swell is manageable. Published guidance associates activation with stronger SW storms; the model band is not an activation threshold. Observe the entry and exit from shore; windsurfing accounts are not stand-up surf clearance.

Reviewed 23 Oct 2026 · not observation-validated

Published sources reviewed by SWELLRADAR, not validation against measured breaking waves. Directional references are qualitative ranking inputs, not surveyed optima or complete acceptance windows. The inherited generic 0.6–3.0 m offshore-model band stays unchanged and unvalidated: not a local surf limit, safe learner range or wave-face conversion. Original approximate map pins and location sources remain except the explicitly sourced Peʻahi correction. Explicit sea requests do not survey takeoffs, depth, currents, access or provider-snapped cells. Surf Project identifies the right-hand rock point about 2 km north of Banzai and SW swell; Surf-Forecast independently specifies N wind and an exposed point. The SW axis is one qualitative reference, not a measured optimum. SurfTribe's original account corroborates rocky access and explicitly distinguishes stand-up origins from later windsurf use; its extreme-windsurf advice is not transferred as a stand-up wind optimum or legal rule. Surf-Forecast's all-stage description is encoded neutrally, without phase/motion rewards or a preferred window, not equal safety or surveyed depth. Historical beach-water assessments, current crowds and access permission are not established. Aggregator beginner/beach labels and a separate guide's displaced 11.8532 longitude are not used.

Character

01

Cala della Morte is defined by right · rocky point over rock · shallow breaking zone. The shape can change with swell angle, period and the active section, so the live score should always be paired with a visual check from shore.

Best setup

02

SW · qualitative point reference swell, n · qualitative guide reference and all stages reported · depth still matters form the profile baseline. SWELLRADAR retains 0.6–3.0 m as an offshore-model ranking band, not a measured local surf limit or a breaking-wave prediction.

Lineup read

03

This is an advanced profile: positioning, entry and exit should be assessed before committing. Pay particular attention to shallow rocks, rip currents, difficult rocky entry and exit. Local signs and advice always take priority.
