SWELLRADAR is requesting a verified marine run for North Jetty.
Spot intelligence.
This is Sebastian Inlet's north-side jetty/First Peak area, not Monster Hole south of the inlet or another Florida North Jetty. The jetty can intensify waves over the nearby sandbars. Intermediate is a minimum independent-recommendation gate, not permission for every size or readiness for the most competitive peak. Inexperienced surfers are directed farther north in the official tourism guide. Check the active bank, current, fishing activity and posted park instructions before entering.

Reviewed 23 Oct 2026 · not observation-validated
Published sources reviewed by SWELLRADAR, not validation against measured breaking waves. Swell-from and wind-from inputs are independent qualitative references, not surveyed optima or complete acceptance windows. All five inherited 0.6–3.0 m offshore-model ranking bands remain unchanged and unvalidated: they are not measured local working ranges, safe learner limits or wave-face conversions. Approximate original place markers are retained, not surveyed takeoffs or approved entries. Explicit sea requests and provider snapping do not resolve local sandbars, reefs, current channels, jetty reflection or wave faces. VISIT FLORIDA's original Sebastian Inlet section establishes reflected surf over shallow sandbars, the distinct First/Second/Third Peak lineups, broad NE/E/SE swell exposure and independently stated W wind. E/90° is a coarse easterly reference, not a unique optimum or reflection-height multiplier. The original Surfline guide specifies ENE–E swell and SW/W wind, Intermediate-and-up ability and low-tide advice with explicit exceptions for different sand configurations; neither partial jetty wind shelter nor historical wave quality is a guarantee. Tide remains unverified across changing banks, without phase/motion bonuses, preferred windows or adaptive fallback. Florida State Parks identifies First Peak beside the north jetty and separates southern Monster Hole. Its public relevant guide text and Surfline's guide were available in the search index, while direct HTML fetching was restricted during this review. No current entry fee, open access, water quality, patrol staffing, safe depth or wave-height conversion is inferred.
- VISIT FLORIDA · original Sebastian Inlet surfing section
Official tourism's original section describes north-jetty sandbar reflection, competitive peaks, NE/E/SE exposure, independent W wind and currents toward pilings; not a present access or safety clearance
- Surfline · original Sebastian Inlet spot guide
Public indexed original guide specifies ENE–E swell, independent SW/W wind, Intermediate-and-up ability, changing sand and tide exceptions, crowd/current/fishing cautions; direct HTML fetch was restricted
- Florida State Parks · Sebastian Inlet surfing context
Official public indexed description locates First Peak beside the north jetty and separates Monster Hole south of the inlet; not current entry, closures or patrol availability

Character
01North Jetty is defined by jetty-reflected peaks · changing sandbars over shallow sandbars beside the north jetty. The shape can change with swell angle, period and the active section, so the live score should always be paired with a visual check from shore.
Best setup
02E · qualitative jetty-coast reference swell, w · qualitative guide reference and bank-specific · check locally form the profile baseline. SWELLRADAR retains 0.6–3.0 m as an offshore-model ranking band, not a measured local surf limit or a breaking-wave prediction.
Lineup read
03Choose a peak that matches your experience and reassess it as tide and crowd change. Pay particular attention to inlet currents and jetty pilings, shallow pitching sandbars, competitive lineup and fishing lines. Local signs and advice always take priority.
