Spot intelligence.

Serrambi's active coral-reef peaks are not the sheltered natural-pool bathing water or neighbouring Maracaípe's sand beach. Advanced is a conservative minimum for independent recommendations over the shallow reef, not an assertion that selected local learning never occurs or that every Advanced surfer is ready. Check the active peak, depth, current advice and exit with local expertise before entering.

Reviewed 23 Oct 2026 · not observation-validated

Published sources reviewed by SWELLRADAR, not validation against measured breaking waves. Swell-from and wind-from references are independent qualitative ranking inputs, not surveyed optima or complete acceptance windows. Inherited generic 0.6–3.0 m offshore-model bands remain unchanged and unvalidated: they are not measured local working ranges, safe learner limits or wave-face conversions. Original approximate map pins and location sources remain. Explicit six-kilometre sea requests do not survey takeoffs, bathymetry, reef clearance, currents, access or the provider's returned cell. The original Surf-Forecast Serrambi guide independently supplies SE swell and WNW wind, reef lefts/rights, crowd and rock cautions. These are qualitative ranking references, not surveyed optima. Júnior Lagosta's original personal account describes exposed coral during an early Serrambi wipeout and a right opening; this supports the reef consequence, not uniform handedness, safe learning or a present lesson offer. Paulo Moura's original 2006 interview corroborates Serrambi's established surf identity and episodic quality, not a calibrated range. The general guide's mid-tide preference is not independently established across the multiple coral peaks: tide bonuses, preferred windows and adaptive fallback stay off. Broad shark caution is not a current incident alert, and no reef depth, local working range or current access clearance is inferred. The retained whole-area marker is not any guide's surveyed takeoff.

  • Surf-Forecast · original Serrambi reef guide

Original exact-name guide independently states SE swell and WNW wind, reef lefts/rights and rock/crowd/wildlife cautions; single-guide mid-tide advice is not a surveyed whole-area response

  • Júnior Lagosta · original personal Serrambi account

Participant's original account, campaign closed in 2015, describes a Serrambi right and exposed coral during a wipeout; historical learning and fundraising rewards are not present services or learner clearance

  • Paulo Moura / Waves · original 2006 interview

Original athlete interview corroborates Serrambi's known surf identity and infrequent stronger-quality episodes, not a numeric wind/tide optimum, current observation or all-condition ability grade

Character

01

Serrambi is defined by left and right reef peaks over shallow coral and rock reef. The shape can change with swell angle, period and the active section, so the live score should always be paired with a visual check from shore.

Best setup

02

SE · qualitative reef reference swell, wnw · qualitative guide reference and reef-specific · check locally form the profile baseline. SWELLRADAR retains 0.6–3.0 m as an offshore-model ranking band, not a measured local surf limit or a breaking-wave prediction.

Lineup read

03

This is an advanced profile: positioning, entry and exit should be assessed before committing. Pay particular attention to shallow coral and rock impacts, crowded shared takeoff, marine wildlife and reef exposure. Local signs and advice always take priority.
