Spot intelligence.
Tsujido is a multi-peak beach in Fujisawa, not one uniform takeoff. The original Japanese name remains searchable. Small, selected waves support learning, but Intermediate is a conservative minimum for independent recommendations across this unsplit beach and its unchanged generic model band. Seasonal swimming zones must be respected; this is not a beach-wide daytime surfing ban.

Reviewed 19 Oct 2026 · not observation-validated
Published sources reviewed by SWELLRADAR, not validation against measured breaking waves. Swell-from and wind-from bearings are qualitative ranking references, not surveyed optima. The inherited generic 0.6–3.0 m offshore-model bands remain unchanged: they are not measured local surf limits, safe learner ranges or wave-face conversions. Approximate map pins are place markers, not surveyed takeoffs or approved entry routes. Explicit sea requests sample offshore models. Local notices, actual banks, currents and personal ability override the profile. The original general guide supplies S swell and both wave directions. The first-hand central-peak account describes broader W-to-S exposure and sand banks; S is a shared qualitative reference, not equal exposure at every peak. N wind in the first-hand account and NW in the general guide do not establish one beach-wide optimum, so no directional wind bonus or opposite-swell fallback is applied. The central account favours lower-to-middle water and incoming tide, while the general guide says all stages can work. Neither claim is promoted to a zone-wide tide rule: no preferred phase, motion bonus or adaptive beach fallback. Kanagawa's official description places surfing beside the swimming area, not inside it. The app does not enforce live zoning, issue tsunami alerts, guarantee lifeguard availability or validate the exact takeoff. Guide tide-table values and distant observations are not local surf-height calibration.

Character
01Tsujido Beach is defined by lefts and rights · changing beach peaks over sand banks · section-dependent shorebreak. The shape can change with swell angle, period and the active section, so the live score should always be paired with a visual check from shore.
Best setup
02S · qualitative beach reference swell, n–nw reported · no direction bonus and bank-specific · check locally form the profile baseline. SWELLRADAR retains 0.6–3.0 m as an offshore-model ranking band, not a measured local surf limit or a breaking-wave prediction.
Lineup read
03Choose a peak that matches your experience and reassess it as tide and crowd change. Pay particular attention to crowded mixed-board peaks, seasonal swim-zone restrictions, shorebreak on changing banks. Local signs and advice always take priority.
