Spot intelligence.

This is Little Buddha opposite Ocean Vista/Sea Links, not Malibu or Mui Ne's kite-dominated main beach. Local operators identify a left-hand sandy point-like wave, while original guides distinguish the experienced-surfer section beside the wall from easier inside reforms. Intermediate is a conservative minimum for this unsplit marker across the unvalidated offshore band; guided beginner whitewater does not make the outside peak independently learner-suitable. Keep clear of the concrete and reassess the actual sandbar.

Reviewed 23 Oct 2026 · not observation-validated

Published sources reviewed by SWELLRADAR, not validation against measured breaking waves. Directional references are qualitative ranking inputs, not surveyed optima or complete acceptance windows. The inherited generic 0.6–3.0 m offshore-model band remains unchanged and unvalidated: not a measured local working range, safe learner range or wave-face conversion. Original approximate map pins and location sources remain. Explicit six-kilometre sea requests do not survey takeoffs, depth, currents, access or provider-snapped cells. Muine Local Surf School's own account explicitly describes the Little Buddha left-hand point and sandy bottom, seasonal northern-swell sandbar formation and guided beginner sessions. KITENAM's own Little Buddha paragraph identifies the same venue opposite Ocean Vista/Sea Links behind a breakwater. Joseph Richard Francis's original Surf Atlas account independently identifies Tu Lum/Sea Links, NE monsoon and E typhoon exposure, left walls and concrete clusters; an isolated accommodation blurb calls it a right, so the detailed spot section and the local operator's left agree without claiming every secondary peak is a left. NE/45° is one reported seasonal source reference, not a measured optimum or guarantee of wave size after refraction. Grace Austin's original guide separates the wall's experienced-surfer wave from easier inside reforms; this distinction, rather than the mere availability of lessons, supports excluding independent learners at the unsplit marker. Shelter and claims of all-day clean waves do not establish a numerical clean-wind axis or wind-strength guarantee. No directional wind/opposite-swell fallback or tide phase/motion bonus, preferred window or adaptive fallback is enabled. The six-kilometre marine request is south into the bay, not a surveyed takeoff or a point six kilometres NE across land. Current crowd, access and service guarantees are not adopted.

Character

01

Little Buddha · Sea Links is defined by left · sandbar beside the breakwater over sandbar beside concrete coastal protection. The shape can change with swell angle, period and the active section, so the live score should always be paired with a visual check from shore.

Best setup

02

NE · qualitative monsoon reference swell, sheltered bay · directional optimum unverified and changing sandbar · response unverified form the profile baseline. SWELLRADAR retains 0.6–3.0 m as an offshore-model ranking band, not a measured local surf limit or a breaking-wave prediction.

Lineup read

03

Choose a peak that matches your experience and reassess it as tide and crowd change. Pay particular attention to concrete breakwater and hard coastal structures, busier mixed-ability takeoff zone, hollower outside section and changing sandbars. Local signs and advice always take priority.
